Preview tonight’s mid-season finale of The Walking Dead! I can’t wait to see what Michonne will do next. Will she try to kill Negan?
New video commentary was released by AMC this week, featuring Danai adding some insight to the sneak peek we saw previously. The scene in this clip is also a little longer than that one, showing Michonne dragging the walkers away at the end. Everything I’ve heard says this episode will be pretty crazy!

Danai Gurira, who was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Play earlier this year for Eclipsed, was among the honorees at the Theatre Communications Group (TCG)’s Annual Gala on November 14th in New York! Danai was chosen for the honor for her accomplishments and work in theatre, along with Tony-nominated Broadway producers Stephen C. Byrd and Alia Jones-Harvey, and the Vilcek Foundation and Rick Kinsel. For decades, the Theatre Communications Group’s mission has been to “strengthen, nurture, and promote the professional not-for-profit American theatre.”
I’ve got some pictures and a red carpet interview from the event, below, along with a blurb from her speech and a few links to press coverage. Congrats to Danai for the incredible honor!

If you haven’t heard of Global Citizen, it’s an organization with the mission to encourage people to take action on issues such as world hunger. Danai spoke on stage but before the show she spoke with an interviewer on the red carpet and gave some really powerful words about taking action. She also had some advice for girls and women around the world. She is such an inspiration. See the pictures and a couple of videos below!
